Join The Procession
Converse begins their Fall 2010 brand campaign with a sharp focus on on the Chevron Star and all kicks stamped with the fame one-star, such as the new Star Player Evo. To kick off fall the right way, Converse has also enlisted the help of some creative family and friends for the Fall 2010 ad, “The Procession”. The new ad fuses everything which fuels Converse as a brand, from sports to music and culture. The stars marching in the new procession include basketball legend Julius “Dr. J” Erving; Carlos Arroyo of the Miami Heat; musicians Jim Jones and Doug E Fresh; legendary ball-handler God Shammgod and Harlem streetball player Adrian “A-Butta” Walton; Converse skaters Kenny Anderson, Sammy Baca, Rune Glifberg and Eli Reed; all set to the thunderous “Hello Operator” by alternative rock band, The White Stripes. The ad is directed by the ever-talented, award-winning filmmaker, Antoine Fuqua.
This is arguably one of the most entertaining videos pertaining to basketball that I've seen since well...since the Nike Freestyle commercials.
